Mark Turley

Mark Turley is Head of Investments in the Education Sector for Pamoja Capital.  Previously he was Managing Director for the German and Austrian subsidiaries of Sophus Berendsen -  an international industrial- and healthcare-services group based in Copenhagen.  Mr. Turley spent many years as a Munich-based Consultant and Manager for the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on the international healthcare industry and was a founding member of the Eastern Europe practice.  He began his career with Business Week/McGraw-Hill in New York.  Mr. Turley holds an A.B. from Brown University and M.A. and MBA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania/ Wharton School, where he was a Lauder Fellow.  Mr. Turley is fluent in German, English and Norwegian and has a good working knowledge of Spanish.  He is currently a board member of a German health insurer.
